Gates
A sliding gate is the ideal solution when a swing gate cannot work: a driveway that rises from the street, a short approach with nowhere for a car to wait, or an opening onto a busy road. It gives you secure, dependable access in tight conditions.
We build in two styles. Track sliding runs on a ground rail and is a cost-effective option that needs the rail kept clear. Cantilever gates roll behind the opening with nothing on the ground, which we recommend wherever leaves and gravel collect.
The short version
The key choices and details that come up on most of these projects.
| Track | Cost-effective; needs the rail kept clear |
|---|---|
| Cantilever | Nothing on the ground; needs room to run back |
| Slope | Handles a rising driveway |
| Safety | Edges and photo eyes on automated gates |
How it goes
We visit your property, walk the site with you, take measurements, and talk through the height, style and layout you want. You receive a clear, detailed estimate.
We mark the line, confirm the property boundary with you, and agree the post spacing together before anything goes in the ground.
Posts are set first and given time to cure, then the rails and boards follow. We see the work through from start to finish without cutting corners.
We walk the finished line together, adjust gate swing and latch height, and clean up before we leave.
